    The diagnosis identifies the cause(s) of the symptoms by using diagnostic procedures recommended by industry, and according to user`s requirements.

    The diagnosis identifies known problems by using information sources.

    SPECIFIC OUTCOME 2 
    Plan the repair of a server computer peripherals to module level.

    The plan ensures that the resources required to complete the repair are available at the repair site.

    The plan ensures that the replacement modules are compatible with the computer system, and carry evidence of integrity.

    Bypassing a faulty module is achieved through reconfiguring the system software according to manufacturer`s specifications. 

    ASSESSMENT CRITERION 2 
    Bypassing a faulty module is achieved through reconfiguring the hardware according to manufacturer`s specifications. 

    ASSESSMENT CRITERION 3 
    Bypassing ensures that the computer peripheral is able to be returned to service. 

    SPECIFIC OUTCOME 4 
    Replace faulty module in a server computer peripherals.

    The replacement ensures that the replacement module is installed according to the manufacturer`s specifications. 

    ASSESSMENT CRITERION 2 
    The replacement ensures that the replacement module functions according to the manufacturer`s specification. 

    ASSESSMENT CRITERION 3 
    The replacement ensures that the computer peripheral is able to be returned to service.

    Restore a server computer peripherals to service.

    The restoring ensures that the computer peripheral operates according to the manufacturer`s specifications. 

    ASSESSMENT CRITERION 2 
    The restoring ensures that the computer peripheral is available to the user. 


    UNIT STANDARD ACCREDITATION AND MODERATION OPTIONS 
    The relevant Education and Training Quality Authority (ETQA) must accredit providers before they can offer programs of education and training assessed against unit standards.

    Moderation Process:
    Moderation of assessment will be overseen by the relevant ETQA according to the moderation guidelines in the relevant qualification and the agreed ETQA procedures.
