PURPOSE OF THE UNIT STANDARD 
This unit standard is for a person who operates liquid petroleum gas systems on fossil power plants. A person credited with this unit standard is able to prepare the plant for service, monitor and sustain plant and or equipment operability, stabilise transient conditions, isolate shutdown plant and maintain regulatory requirements.
