PURPOSE OF THE UNIT STANDARD 
The learner credited with this unit standard will be able to put together product brochures and leaflets, providing the product or service information required by customers. The learner will also be able to provide a full product demonstration. This unit standard will assist the leader to develop data and information pertaining to the equipment, product or service that is offered by the organisation

It will also add value by having more competent people who will have both an enhanced theoretical understanding and the practical ability to understand the functions of the Hiring Sector

The qualifying learner is capable of:
  • Identifying the information on plant, equipment and services required by customers and hiring staff
  • Establishing objectives for presenting a range of plant, equipment or services
  • Presenting product details and information to hiring staff
  • Demonstrating product details and information 

  • LEARNING ASSUMED TO BE IN PLACE AND RECOGNITION OF PRIOR LEARNING 
    Learners accessing this unit standard will have demonstrated competence in computer literacy, numeracy and communications and language at NQF level 4 or equivalent.
