PURPOSE OF THE UNIT STANDARD 
The person credited with this unit standard is able to communicate with role players involved in a promotion, co-ordinate activities and role players towards meeting promotional activities. Learners are also able to monitor the activities and evaluate the effectiveness of the promotional strategy and take corrective action to improve the outcome of the promotion.

The qualifying learner is capable of:
  • Communicating with internal and external stakeholders
  • Maintaining relationships with providers
  • Managing and monitoring promotional activity plans
  • Evaluating completed promotional activities 

  • LEARNING ASSUMED TO BE IN PLACE AND RECOGNITION OF PRIOR LEARNING 
    Learners accessing this qualification will have demonstrated competence in numeracy and literacy at NQF level 3 or equivalent.

    Promotional problem areas are identified and corrective action taken within agreed time frame and company policy.

  • Anyone assessing a learner against this unit standard must be registered as an assessor with the relevant ETQA.
