This Unit Standard will be useful to people who wish to make a study of a particular Christian community (for example, write the history of a local congregation), or communities in a particular place.

People credited with this Unit Standard are able to:
  • Gather and evaluate historical information from various sources
  • Interpret gathered historical information.
  • Outline the history of the chosen period or place using the material gathered 

  • LEARNING ASSUMED TO BE IN PLACE AND RECOGNITION OF PRIOR LEARNING 
    Learners are assumed to be competent in Communication and Mathematical Literacy at NQF Level 3.
