PURPOSE OF THE UNIT STANDARD 
A person credited with this unit standard is generally found within the chartered accounting field. On successful completion of the unit standard, a person will be able to provide advice on the legal principles of labour law to clients. Advice will include the differentiation between employees, independant contractors and agents, as well as the nature and formation of common law service contracts, and the relationship between principal and agent. 

LEARNING ASSUMED TO BE IN PLACE AND RECOGNITION OF PRIOR LEARNING
