PURPOSE OF THE UNIT STANDARD 
Persons credited with this unit standard will be able to prepare plant for service, control load variations from a centralised control room, monitor load variation conditions, optimise load variation conditions, control hydraulic process, loading, inventory control and demonstrate knowledge and understanding of hydro power plant operation and control.
