This unit standard is intended for people who work in the buying/planning function of an organisation. They are responsible for allocating stock to stores. This could include allocating not just quantities but also deciding on the ranges of stock for stores.

Persons credited with this unit standard will be able to:
  • Explain organisations policies and procedures relating to the allocation of stock to stores.
  • Allocate stock to stores.
  • Evaluate stock allocation.

    Anyone assessing a learner against this unit standard must be registered as an assessor with the relevant ETQA or an ETQA; which has a MOU with the relevant ETQA.
