PURPOSE OF THE UNIT STANDARD 
This unit standard is for learners who need to brief and debrief teams/groups of people in terms of the task at hand. This unit standard will enable learners to prepare and plan for a briefing and debriefing session, facilitate the session and be able to conclude the session.

A learner credited with this unit standard will be able to:
  • Prepare and plan for a briefing session.
  • Facilitate a briefing session.
  • Facilitate a debriefing session.

    Findings are summarised, analysed and evaluated in line with purpose of the session and the task completed.

    Information is captured in a report format for presentation to the appropriately higher office bearer.
