    The consequences of misinterpreting the design categories, the judging criteria and/or the design criteria, are described in terms of the competition as a whole.

    Possible design options are explored through means of drawings in terms of the design specifications.

    A technical drawing is rendered in terms of design specifications and competition requirements.

    The completed design is finished and mounted according to competition requirements.

    The completed design is submitted that details the materials used and facilitates the manufacture of the jewellery item in terms of the design specifications.

    The consequences of not adhering to correct design practices, housekeeping and safety practices, are described in terms of the potential impact on occupational health and safety and quality. 


    UNIT STANDARD ACCREDITATION AND MODERATION OPTIONS 
  • Anyone assessing a learner or moderating the assessment of a learner against this unit standard must be registered as an assessor with the relevant Education, Training, Quality, Assurance (ETQA) Body, or with an ETQA that has a Memorandum of Understanding with the relevant ETQA.
  • Any institution offering learning that will enable the achievement of this unit standard must be accredited as a provider with the relevant Education, Training, Quality, Assurance (ETQA) Body, or with an ETQA that has a Memorandum of Understanding with the relevant ETQA.
