    ASSESSMENT CRITERIA
     

    ASSESSMENT CRITERION 1 
    Hazard identification and hazard control is conducted to eliminate, minimize or control risk of ill health and injuries to others and one self, in accordance with risk assessment requirements. 

    ASSESSMENT CRITERION 2 
    Co-workers awareness and understanding of supplied personal protective equipment and hygiene consumables usage is determined and discussed on a regular basis. 

    ASSESSMENT CRITERION 3 
    The availability of personnel, materials and equipment are monitored and adjusted to maintain specific requirements. 

    ASSESSMENT CRITERION 4 
    Safety information and procedures are accessed and applied throughout the work in accordance with specified requirements. 

    ASSESSMENT CRITERION 5 
    Reports from previous shift are studied for indications of unsafe and/or unhealthy conditions and are communicated to co-workers in accordance with operational legal and requirements.

    ASSESSMENT CRITERION 1 
    Pre operational inspections are conducted on all equipment in accordance with operational requirements. 

    ASSESSMENT CRITERION 2 
    Stonework parameters are maintained according to specific requirements relating to face preparation. 
    ASSESSMENT CRITERION RANGE 
    Stonework parameters include but not limited to:
  • Direction lines.
  • Depth of holes.
  • Drilling pattern.
  • Support.
  • Ventilation.
  • Misfires and sockets.
  • Charging up and blasting (Ref. MnC-G035).

    Drilling equipment performance and condition is monitored, and the results are compared with standards prescribed by the manufacturer.

    Charging up, blasting and making safe after the blast are conducted in accordance with legal and operational requirements.

    Transport is coordinated between working place and discharge point in accordance wit specific requirements.
