    UNIT STANDARD CCFO IDENTIFYING
Identifying and solving problems in which responses display that responsible decisions, using critical and creative thinking have been made is demonstrated when learners are capable of identifying leakers and other possible problems within an explosive storage facility and taking the appropriate action.

    UNIT STANDARD CCFO WORKING
Working effectively with others as a member of a team, group, organisation or community is demonstrated where the individual can coordinate the activities of the personnel working in an explosive storage facility.

    UNIT STANDARD CCFO ORGANISING
Organising and managing oneself and one's activities is demonstrated when the learner is able to assist in the process of designing and maintaining a legal, safe and secure explosives storage facility.

    UNIT STANDARD CCFO COMMUNICATING
Communicating effectively is demonstrated by providing the information that must be displayed at the entrance of an explosive storage facility and through the issuing of verbal instructions to the personnel working in an explosive storage facility.

    REREGISTRATION HISTORY
As per the SAQA Board decision/s at that time, this unit standard was Reregistered in 2015.

    UNIT STANDARD NOTES
The storage of ammunition by GEC and Fire Class symbols, is still in use in South Africa, however international regulations and procedures have changed over the last few years and a new system was developed according to which the hazards of dangerous goods are classified in terms of the UN Hazard Classification Code (HCC) system. Ammunition and explosives are classified by Hazard Division (HD) and Compatibility Group (CG) - amalgamated as the HCC.
