PURPOSE OF THE UNIT STANDARD 
Depleting grain bins, without supervision, in order to reclaim grain stock remnants. 

LEARNING ASSUMED TO BE IN PLACE AND RECOGNITION OF PRIOR LEARNING 
Literacy, numeracy and communication skills at or equivalent to NQF level 1.
Attended a course on Introduction to Grain Handling or equivalent.
An understanding of General safety in the work place at NQF level 1. 

UNIT STANDARD RANGE 
The scope of this unit standard deals with removing and distributing of remnant grain and cleaning of empty bins as a member of a team.

The specific outcomes as reflected in this unit standard are performed without direct supervision, but with access to work site procedures and operating instructions.
