This unit standard is for people who are responsible for performing maltings plant and process operations in a beverage production plant. They also understand the role of maltings plant and process in the entire beverage production process.

Persons credited with this unit standard can:
  • Prepare the Maltings process plant;
  • Operate the Maltings process plant;
  • Clean and sanitise the Maltings process plant; and
  • Perform first line maintenance on the maltings process plant.
