To provide the qualifying learner with basic skills and an acceptable level of competency to enable entry into the Level 5: Art and Design course. |

1. Qualifying learners are able to enrol for Level 5: National Certificate Art (Culture and Arts)(Design Studies)(Visual Art).

MODERATION OPTIONS |
External moderators are appointed (for each instructional offering) as well as provincially appointed moderators, to ensure standards. |
CRITERIA FOR THE REGISTRATION OF ASSESSORS |
Selected educator staff per institution to be used as internal assessors in a manner which acknowledges the quality management. |
