A learner who has achieved this unit standard will be competent in:

Maintaining a film wrapper folding station to ensure optimum production performance of the unit.

    General guide for scope, context and level:

    The learner is expected to perform the specific outcomes as reflected in this unit standard with minimal supervision, but with access to work-site procedures and operating instructions.

    The scope of this unit standard deals with the repair and commissioning of a film wrapper folding station from the film wrapper cutting unit up to the display application unit.

    Film wrapper folding station components include, but are not limited to, turret, bottom folder, long seam heaters, folding boxes, horizontal transfer, end heaters and horizontal turret.
