  • Implement a training and development plan,
  • Manage a team training and development requirements.

    This unit standard is intended for a manager who needs to manage the development of skills within a team. The skills, knowledge and understanding demonstrated within this unit standard are essential for social and economic transformation and upliftment for any individual.

    The scope and context of this unit standard is for a manager who needs to manage the development of skills within a team.     3. The key performance areas or jobs needed to achieve the organisational objectives are identified using a needs analysis methodology.

    4. The assessment results of the individuals in the team are analysed and interpreted in relationship with the outcomes within the needs analysis.

    5. The results of the gap analysis is analysed and interpreted by keeping the current and future needs, budget constraints and organisational performance in mind.
