PURPOSE OF THE UNIT STANDARD 
Persons credited with this unit standard are able to manufacture cores by operating, monitoring and controlling the process whilst adhering to Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality requirements. They also understand the fundamental process principles of manufacturing cores.
