PURPOSE OF THE UNIT STANDARD |
A learner credited with this unit standard will be able to prepare effective and practical aids to assist learner achievement in development practice projects.
The learner will also be able to present a variety of information coherently and logically to masses of community learners from different backgrounds and orientations. |
LEARNING ASSUMED TO BE IN PLACE AND RECOGNITION OF PRIOR LEARNING |
A learner studying towards this standard is assumed to have a good understanding of the planning of learning programmes, have a sound knowledge of the community and be involved in development practice.
In addition, the learner is assumed to have obtained a Level 4 qualification in development practices. |

UNIT STANDARD ASSESSOR CRITERIA |
Anyone assessing a learner against this unit standard could be employed as a development practitioner in the same provider institution with at least a level 6 Qualification and work with a registered assessor in development practice with the relevant ETQA.
Registered Assessors must have a level 6 qualification in development practice and prior or concurrent experience as a development practitioner. |
