PURPOSE OF THE UNIT STANDARD 
This Unit Standard is intended for people who wish to have the skills and knowledge necessary to arrive at motivated solutions to the legal problems that are encountered in the landside carriage and storage of internationally traded goods.

Individuals who are credited with this Unit Standard will be able to apply a knowledge and understanding of the conditions of carriage by road and rail, and the warehousing of cargo, to the forwarding operation

UNIT STANDARD RANGE

Range: as contained in the Forwarders conditions of receipt found in FIATA and other landside documentation.
3. Advise affected parties as to their liabilities in relation to these conditions protections.
