PURPOSE OF THE UNIT STANDARD |
The person credited with this unit standard will be able to maintain and prepare fishing net gear ready for deployment and retrieval of fishing net gear to the vessel. They will also be able to apply aspects of seafood handling specific to net fishing operations.
