Vigilance in the detection and detention of stowaways complies with standing instructions for time and area, as laid down in Harbour Regulations. |

Common methods of smuggling drugs onto vessels are described, as per standing instructions and in compliance with International Conventions. |
ASSESSMENT CRITERION 3 |
Stowaway and drug search procedures are followed at all times whilst the vessel is alongside, in compliance with International Conventions and standing instructions. |
ASSESSMENT CRITERION 4 |
Specific routine inspections that guard against smuggling methods are described as per standing instructions and in compliance with international conventions. |
