A learner who has achieved this unit standard will be competent in:
  • Supplying raw materials to production machines to ensure a constant availability of materials.

    To enter a learning programme for this unit standard or to be assessed against this unit standard, the learner is assumed to have:
  • Literacy and numeracy at NQF level 1.
  • Knowledge of relevant material quality standards.
  • Introduction to the Tobacco Processing Industry. 

  • UNIT STANDARD RANGE 
  • The learner is expected to perform the specific outcomes as reflected in this unit standard with minimal supervision, but with access to work-site procedures and operating instructions.
  • The scope of this unit standard deals with the supply of raw materials to and removal from the relevant production machines.
