UNIT STANDARD RANGE |
Measurement source includes but is not limited to pneumatic and hydraulic.
The range of pressure equipment includes but is not limited to pressure gauges, impulse lines, pressure switches, pressure controllers, pressure recorders, pressure indicators. Caring for pressure equipment includes but is not limited to removing, replacing, adjustment or setting up, cleaning, lubricating and tightening. Safety precautions include the use of all personal protective equipment, electrical and fire protection, process isolation. Statutory requirements include but are not limited to SANS, OSH Act and manufacturers specifications. |

UNIT STANDARD ACCREDITATION AND MODERATION OPTIONS |
Anyone assessing a learner against this unit standard must be registered as an assessor with the relevant ETQA.
Any institution offering learning that will enable achievement of this unit standard must be accredited as a provider through the relevant ETQA by SAQA. Moderation of assessment will be overseen by the relevant ETQA according to the moderation guidelines in the relevant qualification and the agreed ETQA procedures. |
