PURPOSE OF THE UNIT STANDARD 
This unit standard has as its core purpose, qualifying learners who will use a variety of technical, business, managerial, personal skills and strategies to manage the human resources in a mission office. This unit standard is intended for learners who need to understand the policies on labour relations and the LRP service conditions. This would enable them to maintain discipline and effective work relations.

The qualifying learner will be able to:
  • Demonstrate knowledge of labour relations policies.
  • Administer service conditions in the mission office.
  • Maintain discipline and effective work relations.
  • Identify and manage staff development needs and opportunities.
