The qualifying learner is capable of:

Identifying the types of project/client issues that can be converted into potential sales leads

Understanding the correct procedures of feeding back potential sales leads to the consulting firm

Discussing and confirming the potential lead with the senior consultant in a capable manner

Identify the types of project/client issues that can be converted into potential sales leads.

ASSESSMENT CRITERION 1

The processes used by a business as well as the problems they are experiencing with their production of goods or the provision of service are determined through interviews and compiled in tabular form.

ASSESSMENT CRITERION 2

The attitude of the client towards using a consulting firm and their ability to pay for the service is determined and documented into a report.

ASSESSMENT CRITERION 3

The client's needs and problems are compared with the services offered by the company and a report written on the possibility of providing a service to assist the client

Understand the correct procedures for feeding back potential sales leads to the consulting firm.

Leads are presented with a clear set of indicators that provides the probability that the potential can be translated into a sale.

A plan to follow up a potential lead is generated that specifically incorporates both timeframes and processes.

UNIT STANDARD ACCREDITATION AND MODERATION OPTIONS

An individual wishing to be assessed (including through RPL) against this Unit Standard may apply to an assessment agency, assessor or provider institution accredited by the relevant ETQA, or by an ETQA that has a Memorandum of Understanding with the relevant ETQA.

Anyone assessing a learner against this Unit Standard must be registered as an assessor with the relevant ETQA, or with an ETQA that has a Memorandum of Understanding with the relevant ETQA.

Any institution offering learning that will enable achievement of this Unit Standard or assessing this Unit Standard must be accredited as a provider with the relevant ETQA.

Moderation of assessment will be conducted by the relevant ETQA at its discretion.
