PURPOSE OF THE UNIT STANDARD 
The person credited with this Unit Standard is able to evaluate business operations that contribute to the business performance and identify opportunities for managers/owners to improve their effectiveness in terms assisting the business to perform optimally.

The qualifying learner is capable of:
  • Evaluating the contributions of a business owner to business performance
  • Determining opportunities to improve the effectiveness of the owner
  • Seeking and utilising professional advice to supplement competencies
  • Enabling clients to develop an ability to act on their own behalf 

  • LEARNING ASSUMED TO BE IN PLACE AND RECOGNITION OF PRIOR LEARNING 
    It is assumed that learners are competent in Computer Literacy, Mathematical Literacy and Communications at NQF Level 4 or equivalent.
