PURPOSE OF THE UNIT STANDARD |
A person credited with this Unit Standard is able to demonstrate an understanding of various terminal and chronic illnesses, especially HIV/Aids, and the ways these may affect relationships and thereby efficiency and productivity in a workplace; the ability to work toward producing a company policy to deal with these issues, ways of communicating this policy and to promote non-discrimination relating to terminal and chronic illnesses such as HIV/Aids in a workplace.
