PURPOSE OF THE UNIT STANDARD 
A learner who has achieved this unit standard will be competent in:

Conducting a cigarette brand change-over on a cigarette packet over-wrapper and display filling unit to ensure the readiness of the unit to over-wrap a different brand of cigarettes.

UNIT STANDARD RANGE 
The learner is expected to perform the specific outcomes as reflected in this unit standard with minimal supervision, but with access to work-site procedures and operating instructions

The scope of this unit standard deals with a brand change-over on the cigarette packet over-wrapper and display filling unit when completing a brand and before commencing production

Material includes, but is not limited to tear tape, film wrap, display blanks and adhesive

Equipment includes, but is not limited to, adhesive pot brushes, adhesive applicators, folders, code blocks, heaters, conveyer belts and suction cups
