Vehicles keys including all the keys found on the same key ring are placed in a safe or alternative location for safekeeping after having been marked and affixed with a label reflecting the relevant property register reference number according to relevant legislation and organizational policies and procedures. |

Compare and verify recorded information and physical condition of vehicle with the relevant seizure statement and take photographs of vehicle. |

ASSESSMENT CRITERION 1 |
The information and physical condition of the vehicle is compared/verified with the seizure statement by the member responsible for accepting the vehicle according to relevant legislation and organizational policies and procedures. |
ASSESSMENT CRITERION 2 |
If the official accepting the vehicle is satisfied that the condition of the vehicle corresponds with the information on the seizure statement, the seizure statement must be certified as follows: "Certified found in order" and signed with the date and time being given according to relevant legislation and organizational policies and procedures. |

If there is a difference between the condition of the vehicle and the condition as stated on the seizure statement, the following is done according to organizational policies and procedures:

The marking of the vehicles windscreen or alternative location is done in such a way that it cannot be easily removed but care should be taken not to damage the vehicle in any way according to relevant legislation and organizational policies and procedures. |
