PURPOSE OF THE UNIT STANDARD |
Learners credited with this unit standard are able to set up production lines and equipment in order to ensure optimal efficiency for the craft manufacturing process. The unit standard contributes to the competence of those who want to develop a career path in the Art, Craft and Design sector, and contributes to greater levels of production and quality in this industry. Learners competent in this unit standard will generally improve and increase production quality of craft products. The learner will also be able to improve, maintain and set up tools and equipment used in the production of craft products to increase general productivity.
