PURPOSE OF THE UNIT STANDARD
People credited with this unit standard are able to:
  • Describe and interpret the environment geometrically
  • Solve measurement problems aimed at developing rules of calculation in the contexts of perimeter, area and volume
  • Describe routes and locations on maps with existing co-ordinate systems
  • Draw simple objects in perspective

  • LEARNING ASSUMED TO BE IN PLACE AND RECOGNITION OF PRIOR LEARNING
It is assumed that learners undertaking the learning of this unit standard have prior knowledge and skill in working with shape, space measurement and reading and writing at ABET level 2.
