PURPOSE OF THE UNIT STANDARD 
The learner credited with this Unit Standard will be able to perform bonding and earthing on 3 KV DC and 25/50 KV AC on OHTE safely and efficiently, thus contributing to the safe running of electric trains as well as ensuring the continuity of power supply in the rail sector.
