PURPOSE OF THE UNIT STANDARD |
This unit standard will enable the learner to function as an enrolled auxiliary nurse to ensure that individuals, carers, clients, families and communities have sufficient information to be able to make informed decisions about health behaviour and health care.
Learners credited with this unit standard will be able to: The learners will function within the scope of practice of an enrolled auxiliary nurse as formulated by the South African Nursing Council Regulations, institutional policies related to specific occupational settings and the parameters of the capabilities of the learner at this level. |
