PURPOSE OF THE UNIT STANDARD 
This Unit Standard requires learners to be able to demonstrate knowledge and understanding pertaining to the anatomy, physiology and pathology of the human body. Learners credited with this Unit Standard are capable of:
  • Demonstrating knowledge and understanding of anatomy.
  • Demonstrating knowledge and understanding of physiology.
  • Demonstrating knowledge and understanding of pathology. 

  • LEARNING ASSUMED TO BE IN PLACE AND RECOGNITION OF PRIOR LEARNING 
    It is assumed that learners are competent in Communication and Mathematical Literacy at NQF level 4 or equivalent.
