SPECIFIC OUTCOME 1 
Show an understanding of the practices and the procedures that are used in the receiving of Rooibos material. 
OUTCOME RANGE 
The range includes but is not limited to: producer's delivery, batch ID / code number, weighing Mass bags, sampling, marking mass bags, documentation.

ASSESSMENT CRITERION 1 
The reasons for allocating a unique batch ID / number for each delivery that is received are explained. 

ASSESSMENT CRITERION 2 
The information that has to be captured, before the batch ID can be allocated, is detailed. 

ASSESSMENT CRITERION 3 
The procedures for the marking of the mass bags, as per the company's SOPs are described. 

ASSESSMENT CRITERION 4 
The procedures for the weighing and documentation of the mass bag weights, as per the company's SOPs are described. 

ASSESSMENT CRITERION 5 
The reasons for the taking of samples of each producer's delivery are explained.
