This Unit Standard is for anyone who needs to evaluate the impact of human rights provision and democratic governance.

    It is recommended that learners are competent in the following Unit Standards:

  • UNIT STANDARD RANGE 
  • Impact refers to the extent of change and the effect of human rights provision and democratic governance.
  • Democratic governance refers to a system of governance that upholds democratic principles and values.
  • This Unit Standard applies within all fields and sectors. The scope of the evaluation should be broad ranging and at macro level. This Unit Standard goes beyond evaluation at local level of specific projects or provision within communities. The focus of the evaluation should be at provincial or national level where there are a series of coordinated projects.
  • The evaluation will be conducted according to a given brief that defines the purpose of the evaluation.
