PURPOSE OF THE UNIT STANDARD 
Persons credited with this unit standard are able to receive and store logs in a woodyard by monitoring and controlling the process whilst adhering to Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality requirements. They also understand the fundamental process principles of receiving and storing of logs in a woodyard.
