PURPOSE OF THE UNIT STANDARD 
This unit standard is for a person who operates turbo generator oil system on a steam turbine. A person credited with this unit standard can safely prepare the plant for service and monitor startup conditions; monitor plant running conditions; service plant and or equipment; stabilise transient conditions; isolate shut down plant and preserve plant and associated equipment.
