This unit standard is intended:

    People credited with this unit standard are able to:
  • Perform Boolean logic algebra operations.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of logic gates.
  • Convert numbers using decoders and encoders.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of the general principles of logic devices.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of integrated circuit specifications.

    The performance of all elements is to a standard that allows for further learning in this area.
