PURPOSE OF THE UNIT STANDARD 
This unit standard is intended for a person working on a food or beverage automated packaging line who is responsible for performing a coding operation.

A person credited with this unit standard can safely:
  • Demonstrate knowledge of coding equipment.

  • Operate coding equipment.
