PURPOSE OF THE UNIT STANDARD |
This unit standard is intended for learners who are operating in the hunting sector and are required to handle and process hunting trophies. Learners completing this unit standard will be able to skin, handle, treat and dispatch hunting trophies and will furthermore be able to:

LEARNING ASSUMED TO BE IN PLACE AND RECOGNITION OF PRIOR LEARNING |
It is assumed that the learner is competent in Communication and Mathematical Literacy at NQF Level 3. It is further assumed that the learner is capable of conducting hunting for recreational purposes and that the learner has been operational as an amateur hunter for a minimum of two years. |
