PURPOSE OF THE UNIT STANDARD 
The purpose of this unit standard is to enable the prevention of defrauding within a casino environment. The individual should develop competent usage of the appropriate policy and procedure. The sub-field should develop a standard approach to implementing measures to prevent defrauding within a casino environment.

On achievement of this unit standard the learner will understand and be able to:
  • Regulate staff activities in the prevention of fraud.
  • Identify syndicate operations.
  • Monitor financial transactions.

    On completion of this unit standard the learner should be ready to develop learning in further more complex processes related to defrauding within the industry.
