PURPOSE OF THE UNIT STANDARD 
This unit standard is intended for people who work in the Wholesale or Retail industry and have to implement aspects of the Sectoral Determination in their role as managers.

Persons credited with this unit standard are able to explain the Basic Conditions of Employment Act as amended in terms of Sectoral Determination in the Wholesale and Retail industry and, how it impacts on the management of their unit and their teams and their role in implementing the Act.
