PURPOSE OF THE UNIT STANDARD |
This unit standard is intended for individuals managing operational processes that impact on the shrinkage and losses in a Wholesale and Retail unit.
Individuals credited with this unit standard will be in a position to analyze high risk areas, plan actions and interventions to reduce loss in critical areas such as safety, cash handling, stock storage, bad debt as well as internal and external theft (where applicable). Individuals will be able to manage the implementation of their plans to reduce shrinkage and losses in an operational unit within the Wholesale and Retail environment and contribute to the improvement of the bottom line of their unit in the organisation. |
