PURPOSE OF THE UNIT STANDARD |
This unit standard is for people involved in starting a fossil fired power generating unit from a control room. a person credited with this unit standard can co-ordinate and perform preparation activities, startup the plant, monitor startup conditions, control loading requirements, control inventory and optimise the energy conversion processes of a power generating unit. |
