Types of cables may include, but are not limited to:
Conductor types may include, but are not limited to: Conductors/cable types is limited to Low Voltage up to and including 1000 V AC and 1500 V DC. Cable joining and termination include, but are not limited to making off, joining, sockets or couplers (male ad female), fitting of glands, to cables and gland plates. Conductor terminations include numbering, fitting and terminations of lugs. Cable equipment and special tools may include, but are not limited to: Materials may include but are not limited to glands, shrouds, lugs, ferrules, couplers, sockets (male and female), insulation, various metals and jointing kits, tension clamp; piercing connectors. Tests on low voltage cables are limited to continuity and insulation resistance. Worksite procedures include but are not limited to written or verbal procedure, formal and informal methods. |
