PURPOSE OF THE UNIT STANDARD |
This standard forms part of the activities of a ramp handling agent. Learners studying towards this standard will be able to load and unload main deck freighter aircraft using the appropriate sequence and equipment. They would also become familiar with the function and programming control panels.

Loading instruction report or container pallet message (CPM) of different aircraft is interpreted to ensure clarity. |

The consequences of not loading/unloading in the required sequences are explained to emphasize the impact on time and ramp management. |
