This unit standard will be useful to people who are required to manufacture jewellery incorporating non-precious materials such as wood, leather, animal hair and shells, rubber and found materials.

People credited with this unit standard are able to:

  • Prepare the components.
  • Assemble or construct the prepared components.
  • Finish the jewellery item.
