PURPOSE OF THE UNIT STANDARD |
The purpose of this unit standard is to provide the animal protection inspector with an understanding of the commercial ostrich and emu industry, the requirements for keeping them in captivity and the resultant welfare issues to successfully undertake meaningful inspections.
